Women in Blue 2026 Focuses on Action
Greetings Arizona Democratic Women!
I don't know about you, but here in the high country, we are wearing short sleeves, sandals, and linen. My Apple Pear hybrid is in bloom two months early. I guess we can see that climate change is real. Compassion is extended to all of you in the Valley.
We had a lovely and intimate Women in Blue event on March 17 at the Capitol. Senator Priya Sundareshan, our gracious sponsor Senator Mitzi Epstein, and an icon of the Arizona State Legislature, Senator Lela Alston, all spent quality time with us during a very busy day at the Capitol. They informed us that one important proposition requires our immediate action. Proposition 123, which will provide critical funds for public education, is languishing right now and faces an end-of-the-month deadline. Please call your legislators, especially Republicans, today and daily to demand that they support Proposition 123.

AZDW is a political action committee that began as a caucus of the Arizona Democratic Party. Its board meets online once a month and the group hosts its annual Women in Blue Day at the State Capitol or nearby at a luncheon, with state leaders as speakers.
